Your site. Their home screen. No app store.
Your BrandRafter site installs on any phone, tablet or desktop like a native app — one tap, no download, no store listing, no separate Android and iOS builds to maintain.
What your customers get
The same website they already visit, behaving like the apps beside it.
An icon on the home screen
Your own icon, sitting between WhatsApp and everything else they use. One tap opens your site full screen with no browser bars, no address bar and nothing else competing for the phone.
Pages that load instantly
Key pages are kept on the device, so your site opens straight away and keeps working when the signal drops on a site visit or in a basement. Fresh content still comes from the network whenever the network is there.
Every device, no approval
Android, iPhone, iPad and desktop, in whatever browser they already have. There is no app store review, no store listing to maintain and no second build — it is your website, so it updates when you publish.
How your customers install it
Three devices, three routes, about five seconds each. Your site offers the prompt itself.
Android — one tap
Your install prompt appears on the page: they tap it, confirm, and your icon is on their home screen. If they dismissed it, Chrome’s own menu still offers "Add to Home screen".
iPhone — Share, then Add
Safari does not offer a prompt, so your site shows the steps instead: tap Share at the bottom, scroll down, tap "Add to Home Screen". The result is identical to Android.
Desktop — the address bar
Chrome and Edge show an install icon in the address bar. Clicking it opens your site in its own window, in the taskbar or dock like any other program.
Why this matters for your business
Every visit to your website today starts with somebody deciding to go there — opening a browser, remembering your name, typing it or searching for it and picking you out of the results. An icon removes all of that. A dealer reordering stock, a customer looking at your menu again, a patient booking a follow-up: each of them is one tap from where they already are instead of one decision away from a search box that also lists your competitors. It is the difference between "I will check later" and "it is right here" — and for a business whose customers come back, that gap is most of the traffic.
You control all of it
One panel in Settings. Nothing here needs a developer and nothing here is permanent.
Your icon
Upload a square icon, or let us build one: your logo composited onto your brand background, or your initials on your accent colour if you have no logo yet. The initials follow your short name, so "KBR Engineers Pvt Ltd" draws KBR.
Where the prompt lives
A quiet link in your footer, a floating button in the corner, or a card that slides up after half a minute on the page. You write the name, the line under it and the button text, or take the defaults written for your trade.
On when you say so
It is off until you switch it on in Settings → Progressive Web App, and switching it off cleans up after itself on your next publish — the installed copy on a customer’s phone is retired properly rather than left to go stale.
Questions, answered
Does this replace a native app?
For most businesses, yes. You get the home screen icon, the full-screen window and the fast loading without the cost of building two apps, the wait for store review, or a release cycle every time you change a price. What it cannot do is the things that genuinely need a native app — push notifications on iPhone, or hardware a browser cannot reach.
Will it work on iPhone?
Yes, through Safari. Apple does not let a site show its own one-tap install prompt, so your site displays the Share → Add to Home Screen steps instead. The icon, the full-screen window and the cached pages all work the same once it is installed.
Does it cost extra?
No. It is included on Starter, Business and Enterprise at no additional charge. Creator sites stay ordinary websites — everything else about them is unchanged.
Do I have to turn it on?
Yes, and that is deliberate. Until you switch it on in Settings your site publishes exactly as it does today, with no prompt and nothing extra for a visitor to think about. Some businesses would rather their site stayed a website, and that has to be the default rather than something to opt out of.
What happens if I move to Creator?
Your next publish removes it, and it removes it properly: the copy already installed on a customer’s phone clears its stored pages and unregisters itself, so nobody is left tapping an icon that quietly serves them a site from months ago. No content and no data is affected — your website carries on as a website.
Will an installed copy show old content?
No. Your pages are always fetched fresh when there is a connection, and the stored copy is the fallback for when there is not. Each publish also retires the previous stored copy outright, so a product photograph you replaced cannot come back.
