How much does a website cost for a small business in India?
What you pay with a website builder, a freelancer or an agency — the first year and every year after.
The honest answer is that it depends less on the design and more on who keeps the site working after it goes live. Most of the cost of a website is the years after launch, not the first week.
The three usual ways
- A website builder: you pay a yearly or monthly fee, and hosting, security and updates are included. You make changes yourself.
- A freelancer: you pay once to have the site made, then pay separately for hosting, the domain and any change you want later.

What people forget to count
